Tekoa: Father of 5 shot in leg by Arab terrorists

An Israeli man was shot and wounded near the Gush Etzion community of Tekoa.

He was driving with his wife and five small children in the car and was miraculously only shot in the leg. The children are physically unharmed.

He continued driving until he reached the town of Efrat, where he was treated by Magen David Adom personnel.

MDA first responders treated the victim. He is described as a 30-year-old man who was wounded in his lower body. He is now at Jerusalem’s Sha’arei Tzedek Hospital.

Three bullets were found inside the car, suggesting that the terrorist shot at the man from the side of the road.

IDF forces are on the scene.

Davidi Pearl, the head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, has said: “Enough! The ‘lone intifada’ took a break and now returned with weapons. The Prime Minister and Defense Minister must make a drastic change in the field.

“We won’t accept a situation in which the residents of Judea and Samaria go around like sitting ducks. We must make a change and immediately restore security for the State of Israel’s citizens.”
