A Marriage Made in Hell – Obama, Hitler and Islam

After much consideration I think I may have stumbled upon the reason as to why Obama, the Democrats, and the political Left consistently have sided with Muslims, even Jihadists. On virtually every issue from legal issues like school prayer, holidays, locker room foot baths and other special religious considerations, law enforcement regulations towards curtailing of mosque surveillance and profiling, fast tracking of Muslim refugees, Obama’s incessant praises for Islam and denigration of Christianity, and his blatant transparent support for Ikhwan, the Muslim Brotherhood, in bringing down the secular leaders of Egypt and Libya who stood in the way of the ‘Brotherhood’ and more and more…
How is it that Islam with its long intolerant institutionalized traditions regarding minorities, women, and gays has become the Left’s favorite over the other two Abrahamic religions, Christianity and Judaism with their benign and liberal policies on all those things? First of all we must understand that Leftism, a quasi-religious secular socio-political system is inherently atheistic in spiritual outlook, placing all power in its worship of humankind, the supreme power and authority. That Leftism scoffs at anyone and any religious belief that invokes some transcendent all-powerful deity or god is a major bedrock of Leftist ideology. As Karl Marx stated two centuries ago; “Religion is the opiate of the people.” Simply put there is no place for religious belief in Leftist political and social institutions where man alone is the ultimate arbiter in all ways and things.
To understand the Left’s infatuation with Islam and denigration of other world’s religions it’s noteworthy to look at Hitler’s views on religion. Although Hitler may have professed some Christian beliefs at one time or other he ultimately had no use for it, seeing it as a ‘weak’ and superstitious belief with its ‘turning of the other cheek’ and ‘loving of its enemy’. Hitler, like other totalitarian dictators and systems such as Communism, was focused on the inherent power of centralized authority, governmental power, and controlling of the masses.
Hitler and Islam
It is known that Hitler had a strong affinity for Islam as a religio-political force and source of power, a totalitarian system of control and conquest that subjugated all people and things to its central religious authority, the Koran and Sharia law. Hitler saw Islam as the ‘Strong Horse’ of world religions and stated that had the Islamic armies not been turned back at the decisive battle of Tours in the Eighth Century Islam could have ruled the ‘weaker’ Christian religious world in which case by virtue of Germany’s Aryan racial superiority the German people’s leader, he, Hitler, would of course serve at the head of the Ummah government as World leader. During the Second World War Hitler maintained a strong alliance with the de facto Caliph of the Muslim World, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin Al-Husseini, who spent the war years as guest to Hitler in Berlin, advising Hitler on the annihilation of their common enemy, world Jewry, and inspecting the Nazi’s Bosnian Muslim Divisions.
That brings us back to the main issue of Leftist affinity for the ‘Strong Horse’ of religions, Islam. Being that in the eyes of the atheistic Left all religions are similarly alike, long established fool hearty human superstition belief systems and not likely to disappear from the common and long-standing ‘primal beliefs’ of Mankind, then perhaps the most to be wished for was that one of the several competing and often times antagonistic religions, Islam, should reign supreme, destroying and replacing the other Christian, Jewish, Hindu, and Buddhist ones with the naturally ‘strong horse’ of Islam.
If there was only one officially acceptable religion in the entire world then the Left’s long hope of one-world government would be all the easier to accomplish with the ‘strong horse’ of Islam insuring a one-world religion that through its strict and narrow limits upon human freedoms, actions, speech, and all things would serve to keep all peoples of the world marching in religious lock-step with never the prospect of inter-religious competition and strife. One people, one nation, one world, one government, and one religion…one belief and one body. Leftism and Islamism. The ultimate totalitarian teammates for the New World Order and a marriage made in hell.
