Rena Ariel at Halleli’s funeral
Thousands of Israelis visited the family of the young terror victim Halleli Ariel in Kiryat Arba – but Rena left them speechless.
Just three days earlier her beautiful daughter was stabbed to death whilst sleeping in her bed. Rena Ariel had already spoken out against the mother of the murdering terrorist blaming her for the lessons her son learnt.
Thousands of Israelis from across the country went to Kiryat Arba over the past few days to comfort the family of Halleli-Yaffa Ariel but little did they know that it was they who would be comforted, by none other than Halleli’s grieving mother, Rena.
Far from encountering a broken woman, they heard Rena deliver a strong and moving speech, delivering her words of chizuk (encouragement, or literally “strength”) to the surprised crowd.
